A Gift of Stewardship: Rice Donation to Aglipay Seminary

In a spirit of koinonia and shared stewardship, the Parish of the Holy Child, Buguion, Calumpit, Bulacan, of the Diocese of Bataan and Bulacan, generously offered rice donations to the Aglipay Central Theological Seminary on March 23, 2026, during their Parish Visit Iglesia and Stations of the Cross led by their parish priest, Rev. Elmer Pinili. This meaningful visit not only expressed devotion through prayer and reflection but also embodied a deep sense of unity and mutual care within the life of the Church.

The offering of rice, simple yet significant, reflects a heartfelt commitment to support the ongoing formation of future ministers. It serves as a reminder that theological education is not the work of the seminary alone, but a shared responsibility of the entire Church community. Through such acts of generosity, parishes become active partners in nurturing vocations and sustaining those who are being prepared for ministry.

More than material support, this gesture stands as a concrete witness of solidarity—affirming that the journey of formation is strengthened by the collective faith, compassion, and participation of God’s people. It is through these expressions of shared mission that the Church continues to grow, empowering seminarians to serve with dedication, humility, and a deep sense of calling among the communities they will one day shepherd.
